Being Nomades: Making a place home where you are.
The scribbles are fragments and they are about fragments. They have been inspired by my deep concern about what is called “migrants” – and how we do not let them feel home – us, enjoying ourselves being global citizens, nomades (writing such texts).
The scribbles are also inspired by the visit to the Polar Museum in the frame of the 2015 CSR, where I spied the old notion on NOMADES and SHELTER.
They also show the signs of a lecture which had been given during this Residency about storage of knowledge in DNA – engraved knowing, fragmented somehow, everywhere, nomadic.
And maybe most of all, the works are about us, up and down, wondering, and then at the shared table – bringing the fragments together at some point sometimes.
